When it comes to Test and Tag and PATs I’ve done it all – I even built a PAT back in 1991 before the test and tag industry existed. I’ve taught test and tag, done test and tag, helped to write the Test and Tag Standard since 1996 and have repaired and calibrated thousands of PATs. There really isn’t much I don’t know about the industry.

Metrotest Trainer
Training/Calibration/Repair Manager
Evan is in charge of repairs and calibration for Metrotest. He has worked for the RNZAF as an Avionic Technician for 23 years attaining the rank of Flight Sergeant. At that level he was a Senior Trade Training Instructor for the avionics trade at the Aeronautical Training Squadron at RNZAF Base Woodbourne.
Evan then carried out another 10 years as a Civilian Instructor for the Aeronautical Training Squadron teaching a wide range of subjects.
Evan has worked for Metrotest for the last six years in the roll of Trainer and the Calibration and Repair Technician.
