Repairs
We have two facilities set up in New Zealand to repair test equipment that we have supplied. Many people ‘sell’ test equipment, but few repair what they sell, but don’t worry even if your tester was not bought from us often we will still be able to repair it.

Our skilled staff have years of experience to call upon and we have a very well-equipped service department which means faults are found quickly and you’re back in business sooner. In the unlikely event we can not fix it and it has to return to the manufacturer we will endeavour to lend you an identical or similar tester.
We don’t out-source repairs so usually the turn around time for repairs is just a few days.
Our service department will sometimes design and build product enhancing modifications to test equipment and some manufacturers will ask us for help. Why do they do this? They know that we are really rather unique. Who, apart from us, uses what we sell nationwide, repair it, calibrate it, train people how to use it and often help design and sometimes partly build it. One of our directors built his first tester back in 1992 and received a government funding grant towards the development of this.
We know instruments downside up and outside in and everything in between!

Sometimes equipment may also have accessories such as printers, battery chargers, scanners, RFID readers/writers etc our techs are very familiar with many of these so are able to help and again repairs are normally done by us in- house. Printer repairs are also commonly done by us and these include the brands ProTag, TSC, Zebra, Sato and Intermec.
Our repair facility in Blenheim stocks an extensive range of parts for all our PAT testers, Printers, Scanners. Most repairs are done quickly on the premises andit is very rare that a tester has to be sent back to the factory. Should this rare event happen, then we will loan you a tester whilst yours is away.

Had issues with our PAT and printer, called Metrotest. Turns out it needed a repair, they took care of the whole process, quick and easy! Very happy with their service.
